Chris Turner - Monkey tape

I wanted to talk to you about one of my favorite vocalist in the underworld, Chris Turner.
I discovered him in 2010 with his crazy track Liquid love



He did background singing for his mentor, Bilal and also for Sean Kingston. Old school Soul and Rn'b style singer (and I am talking about that Marvin Gaye's Rn'b not Neyo's) he delivered "Monkey Tape", a classic jazz tribute available on his bandcamp.

Mar is a singer and song writer from amsterdam. His music is really neo soul, futuristic and relaxing style. I just love it, this is innovative. People who follow the indie and underground world have already heard of him working with Full Crates (producers) or in his MarVariation project.

Anyway, here's a new track from "Seeing here naked" EP which will be out at the end of this month.

This, you won't see on MTV at the moment, but we assure you this is good stuff. Mecca:83 is a beatmaker (yeah again) from Manchester - and he is defenetly in that Future Music trend. We discovered him with his 2011 EP, Messages, a jazz oriented project. Well he is back with a new beat album DAYBREAK EP released january 2012 on his own label, sometimes funk, sometimes old school, sometimes abstract... but always nice.

Well, a friend sent me a video of this artist few days ago - and wowww this is just my kind of stuff - The Weeknd born Abel Tesfaye is one of kind. He is from canada, he has three albums out (download on http://the-weeknd.com/). Apparently MTV BET XXL the source showed him props so, and I didnt know him, I think should open my mind to other stuff sometimes and stop keeping it undaground.
Very deep music, innovative, Im not a fan of every songs he maid, but the track "what you need" is for me a F$%! song...and a great one
